GARY ADAMS

It is with great sadness we share the news that long-time Northern California USSSA player and umpire passed away in
September 2011 at the young age of 52.

As a well-respected member of USSSA, Gary was the first and only individual to umpire to play in the USSSA Men’s “Major” World Series, as well as umpire in this prestigious USSSA event.  Additionally, Gary umpired for Concord Softball Umpires for 15 years, served USSSA as a tournament director, league director, as well as being a member of the Men’s Classification Committee for Northern California USSSA.  An athlete all his life, Gary played on a 50+ USSSA team at the time of his passing. 

The game of softball will not be the same without Gary.
